THE WORK

NEWS

Westbrook Together Days

The City of Westbrook and Discover Downtown Westbrook shared a tent at this year's Westbrook Together Days. This offered a great way for citizens to connect with City officials and learn more about ongoing and upcoming projects in Westbrook. Plan the Common was a featured project which had a great deal of interest and excitement. The public was encouraged to become a part of the Westbrook Common redesign by providing their input and ideas through the on-line survey.

MILESTONES

Cornelia Warren Funding Application

The City sought and received funding for the revitalization of the Common from the Cornelia Warren Community Association. As part of that process, the project team prepared preliminary sketches showing possibilities for the Common redesign. These sketches supported the application, illustrating possible approaches and serving as a tool for estimating potential costs. Please check out the concepts and feedback we received at the recent workshop.
